Hi guys. I think it's a great idea what your doing here. I have also tried to find information about waxing before but come to a dead end on the Internet. My question for you or for anyone else who might have good advice is regarding hairy collars. What do you think is the best way to remove this hair? Currently I shave the hair off. This however seems to have brought the hair back thicker than when I first started. Either that or it has just got thicker naturally over time but I haven't noticed because it is kept short. Should I ask my partner or the salon to wax it off? It is my most annoying hairy place, and I would consider laser treatment. Do you have any idea for the costs involved in this?

Hi Antonb, any reference to that Strictly Come Dancing dancer .. or is it actually you . Anyhow, yeah I also have a hairy collar and usually shave it too. I have had recent success with waxing it myself using wax strips, but there are some big things to consider: 1) It bloody hurts! Seriously, this is the most painful area I have ever had waxed 2) You have to grow the hair long enough for waxing to be effective first 3) It may not be possible to do it all because of the difficulty in reaching it and the fact that it gets close to your neck and head hair, which can create a problem with hair lines (see our article on this www.back-wax.co.uk/removing-hair-lines)However, it was really good and it took a long time for the hair to grow back... maybe 4 weeks. One of the reasons why we havent put a section on this up on our website yet is because we were hoping for discussions on the topic, as it is a sensitive area to wax, so we were hoping for hearing peoples experiences with it first. Thanks indeed for starting this thread! Hopefully we can get more to you soon..
